On 29 January: lecture on “How the nuclear reactor works” and physics demonstrations

On January 29 in Faculty of Physics of Sofia University in аuditorium A209 at 10:00 am will be delivered a lecture on topic: “How the nuclear reactor works”. Associate professor Dr. Plamen V. Petkov, PHD, who is former nuclear operator will introduce the audience to the nuclear technology for electricity production. The lecture is dedicated to high school students of age 15-19. It will be delivered in English for high school students from three schools: Greve Gymnasium (Greve, Denmark), Paralel43 (Rome, Italy) and First English Language School (Sofia, Bulgaria).

After the lecture, there will be a demonstration of scientific experiments by the distinguished experimentalist, Mr. Toma Tomov.
