On 23.07.2024, within the framework of the mandatory training  at Kozloduy NPP Plc, the 3-rd grade bachelor students in the major “Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Energy” visited the State Enterprise Radioactive Waste (SERAW). The students were acquainted with the current status of the decommissioning process of units 1 to 4. Also, the students were introduced to the procedure for exemption from dosimetric control of deactivated equipment from the controlled area. The Radiana site was also visited, where the National Repository for Low and Medium Level Radioactive Waste under construction is nearly completed. The visit ended at the Information Center of SERAW in the town of Kozloduy, where the students were informed with the prospects for the development of the enterprise as well as the opportunities for future realization there.
